Railway Line Bobadilla – Algeciras

TECADE has been awarded the manufacturing and installation of a metal bridge on the railway line Bobadilla – Algeciras. This structure, with a weight of 140 tons and located in the vicinity of a prominent Bobadilla, will replace the previous structure destroyed by floods last fall. The project is part of the emergency work undertaken by ADIF to restore the normality to the railway line and presents the challenge of extremely deadlines of execution, always meeting the high standards of quality that TECADE is proud.

Description of the structure:

• Total length: 85 m.
• Type: Viaduct metal plate girder with concrete top slab.
• Number of intermediate supports: 2
• Maximum span between supports: 35 m.

Weight of the metal structure: 140 Tn.
